Zachary takes everything I say quite literally. This can cause quite a bit of confusion in our daily lives.
A couple of weeks ago I took a very difficult exam and passed without even one point to spare. When I got home Zachary asked me if I passed and I said, "Yes, by the skin of my teeth, but I definitely passed!" He looked at me quietly for a moment and then said, "Wait, they took skin off of your teeth?!?!"
This week, after dropping Lexi off at school, Zachary and I were driving to his preschool. He said from the backseat, "I'm next, and then you, Mama!" I replied, "Yup, mine is the last stop on this crazy train..." He said, "You take a train to work???"
That boy always keeps me laughing. :)
